For the people that didn't know for the EVGA's P55 series you don't need an LGA 1156 heatsink; EVGA boards all have a second set of mounting holes for LGA 775 coolers. You can save some money this way either by recycling an old cooler or since coolers with 1156 brackets will probably cost slightly more.

kinda wish my classy had that. i dont like the spread of the 1366 socket mounting holes, i feel that it reduces pressure

Um... this was in a review of these boards. But it is nice knowledge to have.
I wish all the boards had that....

i've noticed that the holes for LGA 775 doesn't "squared off" with the processor (the green lines) compared to the holes of LGA 1566 (the red lines). will this have an issue regarding the placement of the cooler?

It might have a slight effect for HDT coolers, since the alignment of the heat pipes will be off. But there's no telling whether it will be better or worse, if there is even a difference.
For other coolers like the TRUE or Megahalems it's not going to make any difference.
