no there reason's why they did not make any back compatible wholes

Honestly as much as I want to believe it I don't think a .5 mm shift of a hole would really matter. I mean evga had to put the 775 holes to one side because they would literally overlap the 1156 holes and make 1 huge hole. Pretty ridiculous.
