Default 8800 Ultra Cooler Suggestions and Help

I have an 8800 Ultra that idles at 55 degrees with stock heat sink and fan. It gets to about 85 degrees while playing Heroes of Newerth for about an hour which i don't think is a very taxing game. Do y'all think an aftermarket cooler is necessary or what should I do?

Not unless you want to OC it more. IMO, it's a waste of money to spend $30-40 on a cooler for a card that's now worth maybe $60-70.

But 85c is nothing for a gfx card. When you get to 95c, start to be concerned. 100c shouldn't be a problem, but that's the point where I'd start to seriously consider some better cooling.

otherwise
make sure there is NO dust in the fan and cooler etc

I'd just leave the cooler as stock, unless the temps go higher.

I can't take off the plastic that lays on top of the heatsink, 2 of the screws are stripped. Is there any way to remove it? i doubt i have any fancy tools either though. =/

I mounted a Thermalright aftermarket cooler on my 8800 Ultra GTX. The card is so old I would say its cheaper just to run it stock until you can afford another video card that runs faster without overlocking the 8800. the 260s have come down in price quite a bit.
