yeas it does have a top fan, it's the Azza solano 1000. So basically your suggesting that i woult get better temps with the xiggy horizontal, since hot air rises ?

Maybe not since you got a side fan that would directly feed cold air into the heatsink if you mount it flat with the heatsink blowing up toward the top exhaust fan. Only one way to find out.

depends on the case, if you have a top fan and a back fan, you can blow air through it at either one, if you dont have a top fan, you obviously want it to blow air to the back fan.

Sorry, but "hot air rises" does not apply as long as your case has reasonable airflow.

If your case has top exhaust and rear exhaust mounting it vertically will be better because it won't be intaking hot air from video card/s.

I stand corrected. I just remounted my xiggy from fans blowing back to fans blowing up, and my temps were better with the fans blowing back. By about 4C.
