Default What cooling do I need?

im going to get a custom w/c or water cooling kit for shure, my question is , my case has room for 6 fans, what fans should i use if i choose to and is it worth it?

I heard dual cores run pretty hot but then ive heard good things about cooling with AMD CPUs, how will having 5-6 more fans effect my overclockability?

If you're going watercooling I really don't see any point of having more than 1 intake and 1 exhaust fan. You're heat from the CPU will be transferred to the water and then cooled when it hits the radiator. If you wanted to get some active cooling in there for something, I'd probably put a fan over the RAM so you can turn up the voltage on them a little more. I'd also put one over the MOSFETS because those suckers get pretty hot. Other than that, you shouldn't need any more.

Thats partially true, airflow is essential either way, remember, there is still a graphics card, sound card, hard drives, and north bridge to be cooled as well and the more air the happier a system will be.

or just go with ram water cooling. mount your radiator to the exhausting 120mm fan and your system will work like a dream.

Two acronyms used as one term: MOS-metal-oxide semiconductors, and FET-field-effect transistor.

Pic here

My $.02:
If you don't mind the noise put all the fans in. You can't get any lower then ambient temp, but if your case is above your room temp (which it will be) add some more fans if you like. Will only make things better.
