LOLWUT!

I don't think my AC7 Pro on my pop's q9300 OC'd 3.2ghz is performing that well. it idles 55-58c. I am planning to swap the setup into an Antec Solo and replace the AC7 Pro with the Asus Lion Square.

I have an AC7 Pro on my 4 GHz E8400. Idles at 35, load at 42. Great CPU cooler for the money. They just came out with a Rev.2 of this cooler:

Compared to what?

If you're talking about coolers in the same price range, the Hyper 212 Plus and Xigmatek HDT-SD964 are both better in the same price range.

its a bit of a beast, but it just shows how good the block actually is when you get some air movement across it.

Perhaps if you're deaf it is, that fan you have strapped to it is spec'd at 56 dBa, which is around Delta territory.

The whole point of his post was to highlight the ridiculousness of this guy's statements. It makes absolutely no sense that this guy would claim that his heatsink is the best on the market when NUMEROUS reviews have shown that it is not. For god's sake, it's not even a 120mm tower.
