Default more cfm worth it on Big Typhoon?

Guys. I'm going to order a Big Typhoon within the hour along with some more AS5.

Should I get a nicer fan, or is the stock fan plenty good? I was considering the TT A2018, the adjustable blue one. I bought one months ago, but the knob + thermistor broke...so idk. Then there's this one. I gather the stock fan is decent: ~50cfm for I'd say ~20dBa.

Is it a good idea to get a nicer fan? It's like $20 more with shipping...I'm just wondering if it's an UBER upgrade. I'm upgrading from stock (LOL) and I'm hitting 50C load at 2400@1.44v. Opinions/experiences? I know a few of you took 135cfm to your typhoons...is it worth it?

FYI the Big Typhoon is 16dBA, which I can personally vouch for.

Heh. Newegg had it for $50 w/ free 3 day shipping. Great deal! Keyword: had
They raised it to $60 + $6...losers.
Went to sidewindercomputers (bypassed mom-induced newegg forcefield when she was asleep), picked up 22g Ceramique (the big tube), Panaflo M1A, and an xp-120. For $72 shipped. Woot! Craploads of ceramique! See why I got it here...

Don't debate any cooling alternatives...the ninja and newly released HR-01 probably won't fit in my case...it's only ~15cm from mobo to window. The Big Typhoon was out of stock (Jab-tech) or not available (sidewinder) or too expensive (newegg). The xp-120 is a low rider...6.5cm tall.

I've always wanted an xp-120...yay.

Get the XP-120 at SVC for $42.79 without a fan and spend a couple bucks on a fan. This is the best air cooling you will get.

I say you should get water

*edit* I guess I should read the part about you already buying something eh?

Please note that the thread you linked to about the Ceramique is talking about "Sub-zero cooling" and you are not sub zero cooling
