Sorry about the quality of the 2 pin connection and the female 4pin

Is this a molex fan connector or something entirely different ?

It's a connector that allows a fan to be powered by the PSU. I got one withe very fan I bought so far.

Yep, it's a molex to fan power adapter.

Edit: looks to be 12v as well.

yeah i got it with my COOLERMASTER 120mm blue led fans.. because your motherboard wont have 6 or so fan connectors, its better to connect them to you PSU

Thanks guys.Glad I found out what the connector was,I've had it sitting in my wardrobe for ages wondering what it was lol

I scared the crap outta myself when I was changing fans.I clipped them in place and forgot to plug a fan into the CPU fan header.My motherboard then played a song of error beeps
