Gentle Typhoon are good case fans, but don't have the static pressure of good quality 120x38s. In general, if it's going to face resistance of some kind (be it rad or heatsink), you want a 120x38. San Aces are the best you can get, probably followed by Panaflos.
'Nuff said - no further discussion really needed

San Ace if you have money to blow, Panaflos or Deltas otherwise.

san ace 9G h101, deltas afb1212 series , some panaflos.

San Aces (38mm) with a Fan Controller.
![]() I agree, the Kaze 3k would be too loud. Even if you got yourself a fan controller, the Kaze doesn't undervolt well with resulting ticking noise. Plus, the quality is s0-s0.

There's no such thing as "best" when used generically as you have. It only applies when you use the word for a certain situation. Like what is the best static pressure fan push orientation under $20. If you just ask what the best fan is you'll get a bunch of people telling you to buy what they have.

Not near as loud as an Ultra Kaze, but I wouldn't want my three San Aces and full speed all the time. It would be annoying. They make a much more pleasing sound than the Ultra Kaze though.
