Going to need on that one... I do believe that the top 3 are still Coolaboratory Liquid Pro, ICD7 and Shin Etsu X23. As for more easily accessible TIMs, MX-3 is SLIGHTLY better than OCZ Freeze, but not by much.

My personal preference is MX-3 i use it on my mobo, gpu, cpu, and even my ps3. Here are the top three imo and you cant go wrong whatever one you choose.

MX-3 - Thin/Easy to work with
Shin-Etsu G751 - Moderate, works great
IC 7 - Very thick, works great

I must have misremembered about MX-3 as I meant Indigo. MX-3 still beats ICD7 by a quarter of a degree C (on average). MX-2 basically ties ICD7. Shin-Etsu beats ICD7 by 1.25C. Indigo beats ICD7 by a little over 2C.

This is a review by Vapor at Xtreme Systems: http://vapor.skinneelabs.com/TIM/IXS...nt/IXSupp.html

Best performing TIMs: 1. Indigo Xtreme 2. Shin-Etsu X23 3. AC MX-3

OCZ freeze is my preference.
MX-3 supposedly is damned good too.
If you can spare the extra expense the 2 best are supposedly Shin-Etsu X23-7783D and IC7 Diamond.

+1 for MX-2. I used to use AS5 but when I switched to MX-2, I saw a drop in temps. Not much but it's noticeable. Haven't tried MX-3 yet... I'll probably use it on my next rig.
