Default Something different to a Tuniq 120...?

Helloo,

I have a new Coolermaster case and I am having some issues with fitting my Tuniq 120 into there. The problem is the height of the cooler pushing against the side of the case. It's a very "snug" fit to say the least.

I also think that the sheer size of the Tuniq is impairing my case's airflow - not to mention it shreds my hands every time I try to adjust something or re-seat the cooler.

Sooo... I am looking for a new CPU cooler, but don't really have much idea of what to get. Ideally I would want something which will perform on par with the Tuniq and happily cool my E6850 CPU without too much hassle. It also has to be silent as I cannot stand fan noise

I have been doing some research on what CPU to get, but there is so much out there, I would rather get some solid advice from people on here.

Also, price-wise, I don't want to spend more than £30 (~$30-40), so I'm afraid all the nice coolers, such as the TRUE are of course out of the question

Thanks

It is indeed my friend

I wouldn't mind spending more on a CPU cooler, but I've just spent money on a case, so I was looking for something a bit cheaper.

I shall have to shop around.

Any more suggestions are very welcome

Why are people suggesting coolers that are taller than the Tuniq Tower? lol
If the Tuniq Tower at 153mm tall hits the sidepanel, what makes them think a 159mm Xigmatek DK will fit?

Maybe get a Xigmatek Nepartak or OCZ Vendetta (Not 2)
