Default Check these fans out

Just ran across this site. Could make for some interesting mods like putting one of these fans in a shroud mounted on the back of a case to replace all the case fans.

http://www.nidec.com/fans.html

Or how about putting this sucker on the back of your case and ducting it out the window. They are sending me the schematics but what they are telling me is around 250cfm on 24v dc, 190mm.

My Dell XPS 630i came with a Delta and a Nidec. Both 120mm...

Also, the Delta cut off the tip of my finger. Twice.

Um ya, no thanks. I'm all for killer fans. But it comes a point when you gotta weigh cooling vs noise. And that my friend, is shear madness.

nope. IT IS SPARTA!

sorry. In all seriousness, those are pretty epic fans if noise isnt an issue. If i had a server room or something, id think about using those.
