They do say what the apples to apples fan is "For this portion we took the various heatsinks and removed the fan they came with and replaced it with a Thermaltake Thunderblade A1926." That is directly from page 6.

I guess I didn't explain myself that well. How and what fan did they use in the 2nd chart that put TRUE ahead of Megahalem? They basically said for the 2nd chart that they used the fans that came with them....they don't come with fans...but yet whatever fan they used for chart 2 they had the TRUE fan 400RPMs faster. Why?

I believe I know why the cogage is better. On the cogage website, Last line under the Features section. "Includes PWN control 120mmX25mm fan"

Uhh, no the apples to apples comparison didn't even use the cogage fan so that doesn't make sense.
Edit: ha ha ha forgot to laugh

The apples to apples comparison is worth reading but the other one isn't so much as Shadowclock has pointed out. Regarding the Legion Hardware review I don't discount it but it has considerably different results than the other two, which we have established are at least somewhat reliable. At any rate it looks to me there is another budget cooler to consider. I'd love to see someone here at OCN pit the Cogage against the Mugen 2.

I kinda agree. I tend to average out everything I hear and read, usually paying attention to the facts of the case that come out rather than opinion.
