Default RAM and Northbridge cooling?

I had to OC my DDR2 ram from 800MHZ to 890MHZ. I am a bit worried of it getting too hot because I can't really monitor it with software so I don't know! Should I be worried?

Also is there a chance of my northbridge being too hot???

Yes I am a noob to OC'ing. LOL But I got a E8400 on 4GHZ

ram does not get very hot the most you need to spend is buying heatsinks for it if that. as far as northbridge i dont know cuz my motherboard has a fan on it so im pretty sure mine is ok. someone else would be able to tell you if you need to cool your NB more. im 90% sure unless you are doing major overclock you dont need to worry

Your NB does not need anything more than the stock cooling. It does not have a temp sensor because it does not need one.

If you do need some cooling, the Antec Spot Cool fans are very versatile and are not cooling-specific (meaning they can be applied to a number of needs)

OK, It seems I am safe although I still have a bit of room to OC more(4GHZ right now). But I guess I will still do some cheap things to cool my NB and ram. I don't need more power than 4GHZ anyways.
