Have you tried the EVGA precission yet? It useually works w/all GPU's Exception My XFX 8600GTS cards don't allow software fan speed tampering. Cheap two wire fans.

whatever section it is, hes new, he learned, let it go.

Back OT I use RivaTuner it allows me to overclock and control the fan for my 3870.

What the hell is wrong with you people? So what if he placed it in the wrong section? The mod can simply move this...its no big deal.

Anyway mate, if you want you can use riva tuner,EVGA precious tool(easier and less complex than riva tuner) or you can use the ATi catalyst software it allows you to do it.

If you're using Vista 64 you might have trouble with RivaTuner (which others have brought up in this thread). I know I did. According to their forums, because it is freeware they don't want to pay hundreds of dollars to get the software signed, and Vista 64 won't let you run it unsigned.

Unless someone knows a way around this...

Rivatuner helped me for my fan speed, but now I use EVGA precision. I would give those two a try.
