Acetone or WD40?

Wd40 will likely leave a residue tho.

Also w/ acetone, don't get it on the PCB if you can help it.

I would highly recommend that you apply far more Tim on the GPU for Xbox and PS3's, not stupid amounts, but a good amount and spread it evenly across the chip before applying the heatsink,

Its quite common xboxes and PS3's have heat releated issues, I've just recently baked my PS3 mobo to fix it

If this wont remove it then lap it with high grit.
