As far as I know there aren't any watercooling solutions for laptops (where would you fit all the tubes?).
Your best bet would be one of those lap coolers: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...&Go.x=0&Go.y=0

I don't think the 3-5c difference in temps you'll see is reason enough to take a laptop apart.

Well, you could always do what I did and replace the stock thermal past with AS5. If you really want to go mod-crazy, you could run some heat pipes in to your CPU, and have them go to a external heat sink (although that would defeet the perpose of having a laptop, lol)

What are you temps?? Mine were 57C idle before I did this. I know on my ASUS z71v, the stock heatpipe cooling system had a fault that the heatpipe was only soldered on at 2 points allowing only little contact with the cpu block. By laying down a layer of as5 between the cpy block and the heat pipe i reduced my temperatures alot by filling in the airgap. If your feeling adventurous, give your heatsink setup a look but keep in mind my barebone laptop is desinged to be user-serviceable so yours might be a little tricky.

I have the same problim he dose but only worse. My laptop dose OVERHEAT. Its idle temps are 70C which I know is not good and it overheats around 80+C I don't know how hot it is before it overheats because I useally am playing a game. I use Speed Fan to get those temps. I am now trying to find out how I can underclock the CPU till I can get some new heat sinks. The laptop is a Alienware 7700m and its specs are 3.8ghz P4 HT 800mhz FSB 1024MB of DRR2 RAM and a GeForce Go 6800 on PCI-E. I get poor game preformance and according to Alienware my sinks have gone bad but I don't have what they need to send me the new ones. So I am now looking for altunitive ways of cooling the system down temproaraly untill I can get those new sinks. All I want is to be able to play my games I have been (like Battlefield 2 and Counter-Strike Source) back to there FPS I had been getting (CS:S 100+ FPS and BF2 60+ on ultra high). Currently I can hardly play them at all with the FPS being so so so low (CS:S 30 and below and BF2 15 FPS on low settings for boath games). So help here is needed.

So I am gessing that all these laptops that you guys are talking about are p4, right? If so well then I would suggest a vantec lapcool2. I use it on my ze5200 with a xp-m 2500 and if I am correct i t lowerd my idle something like 8c and my load 6-7c I cant remeber exactly, but I did post a acomment with my true results on the hardware review of this product. So all in all I would get the vantec lapcool and If you are brave enough put some as5 on the rig and you should be good to go. BTW It makes me much more comfertable to have my laptop running F@H when i have it on the vantec lapcool.
