Better 120x120x38 Alternative to San Ace H101? - Overclock.net

About 10% higher static pressure (77.2 Pa) than an H101, and usually about $4 cheaper. Also kinda hard to find, and slightly more noisy at 42 dB(A), but has higher cfm (108).

No 5volt or 7volt on that fan.. It opperating range is 8-13.8v.

No contest! This one is $14, exact same specs! The one they're talking about is $32.

The reason I find this fan interesting is that with the extra pressure, one in push may work almost as well as 2 San Ace H101's in push/pull. BTW, 2 San Aces at 39 dB each up add to 42.01 dB combined. So sound level is the same, but you're only spending $14.

Same specs? Maybe the basic ones. The Papst has noticeably more static pressure, and Papsts in general are usually very expensive.

2 San Aces provide almost no benefit temp-wise over 1, anyway.

The Papsts provide about 10% more SP (85 Pa). For more than double the price not worth it IMHO. Overclocking is about bang for the buck, and Sunon offers incredible value; higher SP than an H101 and $4 less.

This is all well and good but how do they 'sound', undervolt and how is the quality?

I'll let you know, I'm getting one! They're not really good undervolters, minimum is 8V. I plan to use it at full power.

I think a Panaflo 38mm would be a good alternative to the San Ace.
