I've seen a TRUE on sale for $39.99 too.

The problem with sales is, they might not still be on anymore when you buy unless you're buying immediately.

The Baram is currently $45 on HSfactory

Mugen 2 will give the best performance, but it is huge, and difficult to mount for some people.
Dark Knight is smaller and cools a little worse.
The Baram is an amazing cooler, but the mounting system is bad.

Looks like the Mugen II and Baram are nearly identical in performance. The Mugen II is cheaper, so is looking good ATM.

I've seen several recent reviews that say the Cogage TRUE Spirit is #1 in this price range. There seem to be several sentimental favorites being mentioned but I'm not one for sentimentality.

Mugen 2, really how many times do you mount your HSF? It's hard to install but you only install it once it a while, considering you reapply your thermal paste once every 4 months or so.

yea, i own both mugen 2 and dark knight, they both seem to perform well but i like the appearance, size and mounting on the DK better, mugen = pain to install on amd mobo without a hole in the mobo tray
