Default NOCTUA NH-U12P se1366 Will it fit LGA775?

Ok guys as the title says I was wondering if this cooler is compatible with the socket LGA775, I know its rated for the 1366 but it comes with hardware similar to the one used on 775.
here is a link for the exact same item: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835608007

Wondering if it will work, and also how better is it from the vendetta 2 ?

Oscar.

I want to be 100% sure of this before getting it, I can get it pretty cheap from a friend... around $25 only used for about a month.

Also compared to the vendetta 2 is there a big difference?

This is great, I know you have one of these, but i'm talking about the i7 version, the Noctua NH-U12P SE1366 wondering if this is the one you own?

Why don't you ask your friend if he's giving you the 775 bracket or not?

He told its the SE1366 edition which comes with 2 fans, Form what I saw in the accessories included from a stock photo it looks ideantical as the 775 mounting point, wondering if the 1366 uses the sabe pushpins dimesion and heigh as the 1366
