you will need a fan controller for either one, but i would go with the one that is in stock. :-)
they are both good.

If your looking for a cheap setup you could go with Yate Loon Mediums x2 in push pull. They should be pretty quiet and provide pretty good static pressure. For more details check out the fan section in my guide (1st link in sig)

Not really. Running 3k rpm Ultra Kaze and can't even hear it when wearing headphones :I

EDIT: Aquatuning has them in stock but they are located in Germany. However, a review of the medium speed fans linked in my guide will show you that their static pressure is very good even at medium speeds. That's like saying: "I don't mind the jackhammer outside because I live a block from the airport"...

The reason i said that was because they will both draw about 3-4 watts of power each and i have always heard that it is best not to draw more than 1 watt from a mobo fan header.

![]() I would suggest a fan controller for most fans that run over 65CFM but I wouldn't recommend ultra kazes for anyone unless they were running them full tilt and didn't mind noise due to their loudness and poor undervolting.

__________________Panaflo Ultra-Hi speed $17. Over your budget but not by much. Great fan as well... but it will be loud! Much better than the Kaze though for noise (can be quieted nicely with a fan controller, unlike the Kaze which will make clicking sounds when lowered) and performance.
