I want to mount a few sleeve bearing fans in a horizontal position, but I heard this is bad for sleeve bearing fans?, will this reduce the lifespan and/or make the fan perform worser?

Yup, both lifespan and performance will be worse. Better to get fans with ball, rifle or fluid bearing. You can still use the sleeve bearing fans if you have no other choice as long as you bear the consequences in mind.

The sad thing is I've only got sleeve bearing, no I don't have any choice, will it make the noise louder?

I presume these are for your case's top output. Connect the power cable and hold the fan in your hands, then slowly tilt it from a vertical to a horizontal position. The noise will gradually get worse over time until they eventually die.
