Question 40mm fan?

I need a 40mm fan for my northbridge cooler I just got. It is the Thermaltake Extreme Spirit 2. The default fan barely has any airflow, and the heatsink gets pretty hot. I don't expect a 40mm fan to have much airflow but seriously I cant even feel any air coming off the fan.

Choose based on noise tolerance

There are thicker 40mm fans that move more air, but I'm quite sure the Extreme Spirit's fan holder won't allow for them. However, if you're willing to use zip ties to secure the fans instead, then I urge you to look at thicker fans.
