I need a 40mm fan for my northbridge cooler I just got. It is the Thermaltake Extreme Spirit 2. The default fan barely has any airflow, and the heatsink gets pretty hot. I don't expect a 40mm fan to have much airflow but seriously I cant even feel any air coming off the fan.

However, if you're willing to use zip ties to secure the fans instead, then I urge you to look at thicker fans.
