i just notice this and hope share with you guys.
__________________yst i add a layer of pantyhose over my 120mm fan at my 3.5" bay and i notice a increase of temp by 2c-3c. and when i remove it the temp when down just hope this will help u when u are planning to add pantyhose filter. =) **this info for people who do not know, people that already know this post is not for you. =)

yap. i am saying that pantyhose filter help to trap dust a lot but also gave u lesser airflow through your case.

Most people know this, I use it with my fans. I use only one layer around my fans and it works wonders. I'd say mine redcues fan air flow by maybe 5%..it doesn't really effect it at all.
