Default Panaflo or Yate Loon?

Hey guys,
Im looking at getting another fan to put in 3 of my front 5.25" drive bays using this http://www.mountainmods.com/mountain...unt-p-405.html but im not sure what I should get. I want some thing that is no higher than like 40dba but produces a good amout of air. I was looking at either the panaflo medium or the yate loon high. Which of these would be better for my application? oh and I will be adding a fan filter and this http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=24721 which directs the air right where you want it and thats exactly what I want to do so I can cool down my north bridge.

And I will be buying these items from performance pcs and I have heard about the whole "real yate loons" argument already.

so these are just gonna be plain jane intake fans?

i'd go with Yate's myself. and that's not just because i run 8 of the buggers either.

they're:
1) cheaper
2) don't need to push through much (like a radiator or HSF), so static pressure's not a major consideration into this application

yeah, I was lookin at some videos for those two fans on youtube and the yate loon was quieter than the panaflo at full speed even though the panaflo is rated quieter and is also running 100rpms slower. Thats why I was confused.

Definitely get the Yates. You don't need the extra static pressure of the Panaflos.

And try to get the Yates from Petra's. It's not that the ones from other stores are bad, but the ones from Petra's/Aquatuning are better.

Just to let you know...I bought 3 of my 6 yates from Performance Pcs (the other 3 being from Petra's) and the ones from Performance Pcs have been performing quite admirably.

Got my yates from jab-tech and there's nothing wrong with them. Saying that petra's are better is a matter of opinion at this point.
