well, just decided to put my new paste on cpu.so i thought id run my pc for a minute to help loosin it up a bit.then i removed the nuts holding my heatsink.turned it left and right, and then pulled.and it pulled my cpu right off the board!!!!!!!!!
__________________ok,i cleaned it up.thank god it was alright.so now i got everything cleaned up and read to install the heatsink.so im turning the nuts tighter and tighter, then snap!!!!!!!!!!!!!so now its off to the hardware store. i got lucky and they where able to find me a new nut that would work.so now i guess i have to email coolermaster and tell them i need a new set of nuts and bolts.or maybe ill just rethink this one for them. just wanted to share my bad day.

Damn, did the CPU pins get bent at all? Was it by any chance Thermal Adhesive? Regular TIM should not stick like that, if anything, it might need slight wiggling.

Don't email Coolermaster unless you want to wait 2 weeks for a response.
