I just looked at the case online. It appears to have a cut out behind the cpu anyway. but it still depends on if your motherboards layout matches it or not.

I think all computer cases need a removable motherboard tray

Just always make sure to ground yourself. Every time you touch something not inside your computer, touch the side of your case. Being grounded is always good.
Try to do it on a table with no carpet.
That's why I love the island in my kitchen, ginormous tiles and a uber tall countertop

Kakemix, you can do this one of two ways, the easy way or the other easy way. Your mobo already has a good backplate and it will work without any further altercations. However since your pc case has the mobo backplate exposed you can use the supplied backplate that comes with the XDK. Either way is the easy way!
Might i suggest that you do a preasure mod using washers on the spring loaded screws as that will ensure a better and tighter fit to the cpu for heat disapation and with that being said use the supplied backplate for better stability.
GL and have fun with your new xiggy dark knight.

What you should do is save the antistatic plastic from when you get new parts. When I disassemble my computer, I always put the parts on antistatic plastic. Just in case. I Also always heard to leave the computer plugged in, but switched off to keep the computer grounded. It's what I do and I haven't had any issues yet. *Knocks on wood*

Hooray

And after you reach an amazing overclock, I'd like to see your temps and proof. Then I'll be persuaded to officially switch over to that beast of a cooler!
