Default q9550+true temps >???



I dont know why 1 of them is 10c too high...should I even bother reseating HSF??? currently have a san ace h1011 on it...

Q9550 can have some relative big core temp differences like 10c. Under load it mostly equals up.

you have like a 20c difference, i would def reseat the heatsink and re-apply some thermal paste

My 3rd core is normally higher than the others like yours. Put it under some prime 95 for awhile and see if they become closer together.

I would not worry much about idle temps since temp sensors are usually stuck on 45nm Yorkfields.. Try running P95 small fft and see if the temp delta in between cores still persists.

Load it up and see what happens. Stuck sensors is quite a common problem.

oh...in that case awesome...I wont touch it ...Ill just look up what adjustments I must make in bios coz Im running at 2.0 ghz right now (cpuz)...what?!?!....then Ill run p95 for 3 mins or something...+rep
