Do we have a list of coolers anywhere like we do with video cards, cpu's, etc.
__________________Basically a list of which ones cool better, etc. I have an arctic freezer 7, looking to upgrade that a bit once I get my new cpu. I am sure everyone has their own favorite, but looking for a general opinion on the better ones.... zalmann? Prolimatech? etc.....

TRUE, Megahalems and the Xiggy DK seem to be the big three atm. Then you've got the CM V8 and then the prebuilt water systems like the Corsair or the Swiftech kits that perform about as well as the high end air coolers.

The Megahalems is currently the best air cooler on the market. With the TRUE following behind and then the Mugen 2 as the third.

The IFX-14 is inbetween the TRUE and the Megahalems for performance, and if lapped/pressure modded, I believe it can beat the Megahalems, depending on the fan used, etc.

Any difference in the "regular" version of the Megahalem or the nickel plated?

They cool exactly evenly. Edit: Well that's not completely true. The nickel plated one will be ever so slightly worse, but not by any noticable degree. The reason being: nickel doesn't conduct heat as well as copper.
