Thumbs up Post your Megahalems fan configuration and temps here!

Post your Megahalems fan configuration and temps here!-prolimatech_megahalems_pic4.jpg
Hi, I would like to make Megahalems stats in one place and I would be happy if you help me with that. You can post your Megahalems configuration here.

1. What fans are you using with your megahalems?
2. Push/Pull or single fan,
3. CPU and CPU speed (GHz),
4. Idle temps/Load temps/Ambient tems,
5. Thermal compound.

I hope that this will help a lot of people in searching right fans for their Megahalems.
(This is just a comparison list not an ultimate guidance, so make your own conclusions.)

Thank you all!

You can't judge the performance of fans by comparing random temps from random users. Main problem is different ambient temps, then there's a crapload of variables like mounting, voltages, airflow, CPU, etc.

Top performing fans are the 38mm thick ones. San Ace H101's are king right now, Panaflos, Sunon, and others are cheaper and perform well also. Best performance for the noise level are the GT's. Yates are the best for the price. Zalman ZM-F3's are also nice.

I know, but I will leave users to make their personal conclusion on that one. I am just a messenger

I think you'll need to sort it into several sections...

One section for thermal paste, another for fan setup. And then another one based on the size of the fans.

And then sort each of those sections based on temps.

So unless we have lots of Megahalems owners, you will have a lot of lists with few people

And hopefully you can get yo fans on there

Great topic but also an excellent point made, I agree that there are nearly unlimited variables but just assuming some people want to get a grounding on what other people's setups and how they perform on a general basis this thread should suffice. Seeking further specific info, people should probably check out some more indepth guides, reviews and detailed specs of the parts that have been suggested here or otherwise, however that goes without saying for all pc hardware...RESEARCH!

Good luck.
