Default Megahalem worth it?

My TRUE isn't doing it for me and water is too much. I'm not really sure of my temps but with my C0 I'm limited to 3.5GHz without HT. With two fans would I see good temps?

You be the judge:

Obviously there will be an improvement, but not a huge one.

The difference between eh two would not be worth the price tag of the Megahalem IMO. I would stay with the TRUE, is it lapped, or pressure moded? those can help lower temps, also a good thermal paste/ reseeding HS

After being schooled on cheap water cooling today (Big Water kit) I ordered a Mega. Doesn't have to be lapped or pressure modded...found it for 62 bucks with FedEx shipping it was 70 total.

Had to grab one.

Mega.

Lap your true, if it isn't quite doing it for you.

Lap the True and washer mod it. And get a better fan. The difference between a lapped and washer modded True and Megahalems is negligible.

Slipstreams are pretty bad as rad/HSF fans.

Dude, You should sell the TRUE for $45 or $50 bucks and then you can buy a Megahalems for cheap, son!!! If you sell the TRUE for money toward your purchase then it is totally worth it! It is only a couple degrees though, but every little bit counts!

Not lapped or pressure modded. Tried, but couldn't get the screws started. I'm just wanting a somewhat cheaper alternative than getting a D0.

Since you still undivided ill give you my opinion. I have the TRUE, MEGA and H2O. Obviously water is best but the MEGA is better then the TRUE. So imo I would sell the TRUE is you dont want to mod it and just get a MEGA. If you dont sell it then dont bother as its only 3-5c difference.
