Set the past two push pins on closed position and push them down. They should lock themselfs into the board that way.

Or try my alternative method when it comes to pushpins: Take cooler, open window, toss cooler out of window, buy a cooler with backplate and screws.

Apply brute force, that is the only way to deal with those pushpins.

Ya I had the same issues with my cooler. Stupid push pins...
They were never a good idea.

Brute force is the way to go. I almost had to sit on mine just to get the last two pins in there.

i also hate them and dont trust them if one of the pins comes loose you could be in trouble and the temps shoot through the roof.

I hate push pins as well. I once had those push pins on the first generation CM TX cpu cooler actually come off the mobo. My cousin's kid was moving the pc from one room to the other. It must have come off from she either dropping the computer or the push pins came off by itself. LOL!
