Obviously, it's not going to be OC'd. This is a customer build, he knows nothing about OC'ing or anything like that, which is why he is not getting a Black Edition or anything.

The question: in a Storm Scout case, would the retail cooler be sufficient, or would you guys suggest something aftermarket? I know I don't need anything high end here, but just wanted opinions

The customer is open to purchase a cooler up to $50 based on need. Honestly if a $40 cooler would help, then perfect!

EDIT: I should also add I plan on getting him the newer C3 stepping which offers this quad core at a 95w TDP.

EDIT #2: Just found out the 955 is the same price as the 945, so give a second suggestion on cooler if I were to purchase the 955 (DK maybe?)

Oh the stock cooler is more than enough for stock, especially with the new C3 chips.

However, if you wanted to cut down on the noise slightly, get something like an Artic Cooling Freezer 64.
