asus a8v-vm se: available bios for OC'ing?
is there any bios version availabe for the asus a8v-vm se motherboard which would enable any cpu overclocking capabilities? currently, i'm running the latest bios from asus's page. the motherboard documenation claims to allow oc'ing of the fsb, but i cannot access it(option is grayed on the bios menu). is there any modded bios out there, or another similar bios (such as another a8v-vm mobo version) that can be used to enable that feature?

yes, but the V - Via, and Via do value chipsets that really aren't for Overclocking

I have that same mobo on my computer that is currently down. I am able to overclock with it but that only means upping the fsb. So with that being said, I was able to get 2.51 ghz outta a 3700+

How did u get the part to up the FSB ungreyed is my question. I know how to OC it, just need to get past it being greyed out!!
