New to Overclock.net

i am brand new to overclocking and i need help to sttart my computer is a amd 64X2 4200+ windsor core voltage 1.365 v core speed 2204.6 mhz muliiplier X11 bus speed 200.4 mhz ht link 1002.1 asustek NODUSM3 1.05type ddr2 size 2560 dram freq. 200.4 the computers bios is locked and i am not sure how to unlock it, i think that a software would be helpful. can anyone help me? any and all info will be highly appriciated ps. if you could help me by writing it out in simple terms that would also help |

If your Bios is locked it's more than likely a pre-built system and overclocking is prohibited. Your only way of overclocking is via software which to be frank is completely terrible and very unreliable/unstable and you have more chance of damaging components this way.
My advice is go out and buy a new mobo, this will then let you have some freedom to do as you please.
