You'll probably want to stay away from software implemented overclocks. They are unreliable and the results are usually poor. You'll probably keep more of your hair if you just stay stock until you can get a new mobo. Just my opinion though... Hope this helps!

Hey, welcome to OCN.

Yea, because your comp is a prebuilt system your Bios will be locked, and you'll be unable to OC unless you get a new Mobo, or try some software OC'in (clockgen). Like what everyone has said, most people are against software OC'in, because it is a pain, and it leads to more software corruption problems.

EDIT: mhsbrian has it right, there are alot of great people here that stick around just because they like to help people out. And thats why I love this place
