Default Update BIOS?

Ok I have a ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe motherboard. I have had no problems with it for the last 2 years I have had it.

Back when I built my PC I updated the BIOS to version 0903 at that time. It has been at that same BIOS version for the past 2 years. I have noticed that there have been quit a few new BIOS updates since then. Looks like the newest update for it is BIOS version 1502, and a newer "BETA" version 1604.

But I hear people all the time say to NEVER update your BIOS unless you ABSOLUTELY have to. I dont think I "HAVE" to update my BIOS, but figure since it hasnt been updated in over 2 years that if I should, I would.

So I guess my question is....should I go ahead or need to update my BIOS? and if the majority of you say "yes", then what version should I update to? the newest version approved?, or the newer "BETA" version?

Default

I updated my bios because it was like 3 or 5 behind. One thing in the update was a new menu scructure that made looking for ram timings much much easier.
Unless you have a problem that would be fixed by running the beta, I would touch it.
