K9N Platinum - How to update BIOS w/o floppy?

help please.

i cant set up Vista 64, 32 or XP

it says OPERATING SYSTEM FAILED

this is why im flashing the bios am i about to do the right thing?

maybe my hard drive was the cause of the not booting up properly?

whatchu guys think please help.

all you need is an USB stick
Format it with HP USB Boot Format Utility
Using the "create bootable drive with files from..."
See attached "BootMe"
Then copy onto that Bootable USB your BIOS *.bin file
and also Afudos
and pretty much follow the instructions on that page.
except everywhere it says "floppy" just replace with USB
(You also have to go into your BIOS and tell your MoBo to boot from the USB "hard drive")

[edit] Just saw you're on an ASUS board- you should be able to just put the *.bin on the USB and then go into your BIOS and select update BIOS and point it to the USB stick as the source without having to muck around with all the rest!
(depends on how old your Asus board is- newer ones have this option- older ones do not!-
If not then the above method will do the trick!)
