Help flashing bios - no floppy drive

New to Overclock.net
|
So I have no floppy drive and it seems as if my usb doesnt work at all in dos/bios.
__________________So... how can I flash the bios on my M2N motherboard?? I havent done it in a while and I am anxious that I am going to fry something. I have to flash it to get my new x3 to be compatible with it...

Man the asus site is really slow today, You can start here though. I was trying to get you better info, the side is just soo damn slow and not responding. I belive there is a windows based updater , but when more guys answer you'll know for sure Good Luck sry I coundnt help more

There is a windows installer, but like smokin said, their site is way slow. 8 minutes so far trying to find the BIOS update....

Yeah so I cant seem to find bios version 1504 for the m2n-e, which is what I nee dot use my 8750 with the motherboard.

You are better off using Asus Ezflash method. If you have a USB flashdrive it's very easy. Format it as FAT32 and put the bios on it, then go into your bios and select EZflash.
Windows flashing is not always safe.

If you have a cd burner you can use a boot disk iso and burn it with the bios. Then you just need to boot from cd. I used that method when i flashed my 7950.

I may try the usb method... I finally found the bios version for my board so ill try it tomorrow when I get to my place

Did the flash with a thumb drive I found laying around my house - all my other ones are for projects or have files I cant erase... - and it worked
