Default Best way to flash ASUS M4A78T-E?

I think I'm going to get the ASUS M4A78T-E and BE 720 unless someone can give me a better argument against the combo price offered by NE.

If I get this board though, may be ordering later today or tomorrow what is the best way to flash the bios to one that supports core unlocking? I've heard good things about the 1402, 1104 and 1101.

Would any of these bios cause issues with the processor and DDR3?

What is the best way to flash to another bios and with what command line commands? I've heard the windows based flash tools create horror stories with corrupted bios chips.

Will I need any boot able media?

Flashed my dads ASUS M4A78T-E using the ASUS tool in the bios (cant remember what its called) and a USB stick.

Done in a couple of minutes with no probs at all.

As for the core unlocking im not to sure on that.

What kind of USB stick did you use? Model number specifically or does any fairly average USB flash drive work? Is it required to be bootable?

any usb flashdrive. just paste the bios there, enter bios and flash.

make sure you don't have your pc overclocked though. best if you run them on stock.
