I'm building a system for a buddy right now and I'm having trouble updating the BIOS so that the computer can recognize the newer Phenom II CPUs (originally it only supports Phenom I). I tried the floppy but the DFI BIOS utility wouldn't even write to the floppy and when I put the BIOS on the USB stick and booted from that the mobo said the BIOS was the wrong version.
Any thoughts? I can't even see the CPU temp in Windows until the BIOS is updated.

These bioards have been known to be kinda flaky. I would suggest initiating an RMA.

Actually I figured it out, just used the back USB ports instead of the front... doesn't really make sense but I can dig it.
And I've not heard anything about these boards being flaky... how do you know that?
