Default should i update my 701 BIOS?

I have the Asus m3n72-d 750a board. i recently got the phenom 955 and updated my bios to version 701. Now they have 901 and 1002 out from the Asus website. Do you think i need to update the BIOS to one of these? i have been having stability issues when OC'ing the fsb, outside of the 'AI overclock' perimeters. Thanks for your help.

Chances are if your having stability issues (on stock) you need to update your bios, but if everything is running smoothly then leave it be. A BIOS update is more noticable when it really matter, i.e hardware issues that a new BIOS update may address. Otherwise just leave it alone. Asus has decriptions of what the BIOS addresses, so read them, and decide if its right for you. Good Luck M8

Update:

I finally did update from bios rom 701 to 1002. The update went fine, but then the Qfan controller started acting weird like it was cycling the rpms up and down every few seconds on the heatsink fan. I tried turning off Qfan in the Bios and also tried changing the settings in Asus' AI suite. It still kept revving up and down and was quite annoying. I stepped back down to rom 701 and everything is like it was.
