Default First Time Updating Bios/Questions and Worries

Today I leaped into the adventure of updating my bios and am fully regretting it. After searching Biostar for my TA780G bios, I found the bios utility and selected the update, thinking that within minutes I'd know if it was successful or a failure. But after it said it was rebooting and possibly seeing the bios screen, which went all too quickly, it then went black with no boot to Windows. Of course as a unknowing person, I have no clue what to do next or what exactly this means.

And thus this arose a question as I think I was supposed to push the delete button and say what settings to use. I don't know if I should pull the plug and push the start button or if there is a magical button that brings the bios back to me.

Or if it is actually still in the process of updating and it's normal for it to take just about 4 hours already. Which I highly doubt it is.

Sorry is this question is insanely dumb, but I couldn't find info about it on search or other sites. So I figured I could ask here.

Just follow the instructions of how too do it. and make sure you have everything at stock settings(RAM,CPU) because if you still have the OC on, it could fubar your board

I haven't overclocked my system yet, and it's already too late to follow the directions if I did indeed have a way I would redo it. Has anyone else forgotten to push the button to select bios settings when their system rebooted after updating? Is there a way to get it back? Or could it be still updating?
