Default Bios Updating Questions

So I have this comp that im using until I get mine back from the evidence lab, and the Bios is dated for 2005... Haha this comp doesnt have a floppy drive, and I dont think you can flash it from a USB. Any ideas on how to update the bios?

Which motherboard specifically?

Also, do you have a floppy drive? If so you could attach it temporarily in order to flash the BIOS.

If you have a USB drive, you can make it DOS bootable. You just have to find out if the motherboard will allow you to boot from the drive. usually you can select it as the first HDD, or if there is a boot device selection function, you can do that. For example, I can press F8 at boot up to access the boot menu, which I then select the USB drive as the boot device. Here is a thread on making your USB drive bootable:
