Default Code 12 and 43

Hi.

I get an error code 12 and 43 when I try to install my graphic card, it's an nVIDIA GeForce 9800GT 1GB (Gainward)

Code 43: "This device has been inactivated because a problem has been reported."

Code 12: "This device is in a resource conflict, if you wanna use this device you must inactivate one of the other devices in this system"

My PC:
AMD Athlon II X2 3GHz
3GB RAM
MSI GF615M-P33 motherboard.
Windows Vista 32 bit.

I can't install any drivers to my graphic card at all, when I put in the CD it says: "There is no correct device for this CD!" I installed the drivers manually from their website with no bigger success.

I also installed the latest drivers to my motherboard from msi.com but it didn't make any difference at all.

Btw, I get the Code 12 because VgASave and PCI Express standard Root Port is trying to use the same port. (I want the PCI Express standard Root Port to be the only one using the port.)

I disabled the VgASave through Windows, but when I rebooted I got a blank screen so I had to repair Vista with the OS CD.

Does anyone know how to move/get rid of the VgASave so the PCI Express standard Root Port will be the only one using the port? If I disable the On-Chip VGA in BIOS the Device Manager won't show any Video Card at all. So that's not a solution...

Code 43, I have no idea why this shows up at all.

Thanks!

Have you tried to run a scan for hardware changes after disabling your onbord GPU?

Also how old is the vista install? If it's fairly recent maybe you can disable the onboard video if so equiped and use only the Nvidia card then do another os install this should fix the problem for sure. Other wise your prolly gonna have to diasable something in your systems Device Manager to see if it frees up some IRQ's or other resources.

I don't have vista but I'm wondering if it's because you don't have enough ram. From what I hear, vista tends to be a resource hog.
