Name is just as it implies. Swapped out the cases, plus I'm out of warranty, so there's no reason for me to keep it. I'm pretty sure a BIOS upgrade is in order to do this, but I've never done something of this sort. Just want some help.
My motherboard is a Foxconn 590 SLI board, since I'm sure that's the next question. Somewhat off topic, but should I have installed my OS on my WD7500AAKS, with 16MB Cache instead of the Seagate 8MB Cache one that came with the PC? (I just reformatted.)

I'm not sure but I think there is an option in the BIOS to display the logo when booting up, look through the BIOS and see if you can find the option.

Well the logo is gone, but it still says alienware in the screen that replaced the logo. I guess I need new BIOS.

Flash the bios and download a new bios for that board on their site
