Default ASUS M4A78T-E BIOS version?

I completed my build using the M4A78T-E motherboard and I was wondering if I should update the BIOS to the latest version.

Out of the box it has version 1610 and there have been 4 revisions since. Latest version being 2105.

I made one attempt at unlocking the 4th core on my 720BE and durring post it stopped and said something like it could not start unleashing. I can't remember exactly what it said though. Would an update to 2105 solve that?

Always keep your bios up to date unless a newer bios inhibits your oveclock. The bios update has fixes, added cpu support, and if your running an older bios a increase in your boards speed potential.

This might be kind of late, but I own the same mobo and CPU, and I had the same problem when trying to unlock the 4th core. I upgraded my BIOS to the latest version and the problem is fixed.

On the ASUS website it says the unlocking feature was fixed with version 1703.
