Format the flash drive to FAT32, put the new BIOS rom on the flash drive and nothing else. When you go into BIOS select the EZ-flash utility then choose the BIOS file on the flash drive and select update. Just make sure you don't loose power while doing this or you will "brick" your board.

When you format the flash drive you select FAT32 in the file system drop menu.

First check to see if the thumb drive is format in fat32(right-click>properties).To format double-click Computer>right click the drive & select format, make sure the file system is set to FAT32.Then you can dl the bios update to there or transfer it there. If there is data that you want on the flash drive make sure to back it up else where, the formatting will erase all data.

Go to "my computer" or "computer" and right click the flash drive, select format, then select FAT32 from the system file drop menu. After formating the flash drive, put the updated BIOS file you downloaded from ASUS on the flash drive. Boot to your BIOS, then select EZ-flash utility under the advanced menu. Once in the EZ-flash menu select the flash drive and the updated BIOS file and update your BIOS.
