Default Trying to Install XP.. bios displays musical note when..

It says "Press a key to load from CD....." with some weird symbols in the page... one looks like a pink musical note...

I recently updated my BIOS (Asus M2N-E mobo) to 1701... I'm not sure what was the old one... I saved it but my HDD crashed this evening (SeaGate Barracuda 7200.11) and till I find a 3.5in USB external case to recover my datas I can't be sure where to downgrade.

I took the battery off to "clear cmos" like they say (I do not know what is a CMOS yet), but I did NOT touch any jumper whatsoever. But the clock reseted...

I installed Windows's for ages now, it's the first time I see that... I checked boot order, checked my 2nd HDD with G-Parted, created a Partition to install XP etc... but it'll always freeze when it reboots after copying the files... It says "Press a key to lead from CD..." with 2 weird symbols and freezes after 4 seconds.

If I press the key well it starts all over again for hardware check ups for a new install (blue screen)

I Googled a lot and yet I found some people who has the same problem, none were solved...

That might be a challenge for some one here ?
