Default something incorrect in bios?

for some reason my pc is loading a black screen between the windows bar and desk top.the bar runs ,then i get and black screen pause,then desk top.

what could have changed that this is happening.i set everything back to default and still get the pause.anyone know what this maybe?

It could be a number of issues, software or hardware related.

Try loading into safe mode and see if you have the same problem there.
